Overview:
From Great South Bay to Long Island Sound, the salt marshes that fringe our island are vital to the health of our coastal ecosystems and to protecting our way of life. As Suffolk County and other jurisdictions consider new strategies to manage and restore these sensitive habitats, it is critical that decisions are based on the best available science
and benefit from lessons learned in other states. Join us as we hear from leading marsh scientists and managers and consider the future of our invaluable coastal salt marshes.
