Minnesota Campaign for Conservation

For many of us, the quality of life the state affords is the primary reason why we call Minnesota home. From its rolling prairies to its crystal clear lakes, its boreal forests and its rushing rivers and streams, Minnesota’s natural resources are rich.

The Minnesota Campaign for Conservation is a coalition of citizens and organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, committed to developing long-term conservation strategies, funding sources and policy tools that will ensure the preservation of Minnesota’s cherished outdoor traditions for future generations.

The goal of the Campaign for Conservation is to preserve our natural heritage by engaging Minnesotans in protecting our lands and waters for future generations. To accomplish this we will:
1. Create a comprehensive conservation plan for Minnesota;
2. Establish large new sources of ongoing, dedicated funding for conservation;
3. Generate public awareness and public support for conservation issues; and,
4. Work with and maintain a broad partnership of Minnesotans committed to our Great Outdoors.
