Forests for Sale
The Impacts of Forest Fragmentation on Nature and the EconomyThe fragmentation of industrial forestland ownership is among the greatest threats faced by Minesota wildlife and it further threatens timber-related jobs and public access. Minnesota has an urgent window of opportunity to conserve our northwoods way of life. This five-minute long video was broadcast as part of "Minnesota: A History of the Land," a documentary series chronicling 16,000 years of the state's history from the retreat of the last glaciers to today. The series was produced by the University of Minnesota's Bell Museum and Twin Cities Public Television.
