Buck Creek Field Day
On Saturday, July 19th, the Kentucky Chapter hosted a Field Day in the Buck Creek Project Area. The Field Day was an opportunity for the Conservancy's staff to explain the stream restoration work at the Pumphrey tract. All the neighbors and partnering agencies were invited. About 75 people attended the day, enjoying a tour of the site and lunch on the property.

You're Invited! Community and Conservation Event in Western Kentucky
The Nature Conservancy, Kentucky Fish & Wildlife, and Quail Unlimited are hosting a free community event on Saturday, August 23. Here are the details:
Place: Mark Hatcher Farm at the end of Birdsville Road in Smithland, Livingston Co.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2 p.m. CDT.
Lunch is free and will be catered by Backwoods BBQ.
Live music by The McKendrees.
Activities include: youth fishing, hay rides, bounce house inflatables, speakers, information booths & prizes.

Nature's Night
Nature's Night fundraising event will be on Saturday, September 27, 2008. This event will bring together individuals and companies of Kentucky in support of preserving the plants, animals, and natural communites that represent the diversity of life by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
