The Conservancy and local partners will work with the government of the Bahamas toward the creation of a new marine protected area on the west side of Andros Island.

TheCaribbean Challenge was announced at the COP-9 conference in Bonn. The Conservancy is helping the Government of The Bahamas
achieve an ambitious goal for the long term protection of national parks.
